We are landscape architects committed to the innovative design of public spaces.

Since 1973 bödeker landscape architects work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and thus have extensive experience in desert landscaping in the Middle East. Richard Bödeker is a standing landscape advisor to the Arriyadh Development Authority. The excellent business contacts and amicable relationships, which have evolved with both clients and local authorities in various countries, continue to be maintained by him. Our projects have won international awards, including the Aga Khan Award for the landscape of the Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh in 1989, a German award for Landscape Architecture in 2001 and, more recently, the Liveable Communities Award 2007, for the King Abdulaziz Historical Centre in Riyadh.

bödeker landscape architects regularly collaborates with other architectural, urban planning and engineering offices and professionals on regional and urban planning projects as well as management of open spaces and landscape areas around buildings. Our group incorporates social requirements, technical and economic aspects and sustainability in all project phases. Therefore construction works and landscape maintenance works are coordinated and supervised by trained members of our team.
