by willibender is an international art project occuring in bergheim/heidelberg/germany. We found places that cover spaces for artits from Barcelona, Andalucia, London, México and Germany. The artists are working and realizing their ideas for exhibitions, performances and art-shows at willibender. They are trying to fulfill the idea of establishing a concept which realizes artistic synergies in every field. Photography, painting, graffiti, design and visual arts can be experienced there.
It´s not only art that we´re going to show, in addition we are able to collaborate with several idiomatic, social, cultural and culinary inputs.
We are transforming and developing empty or former commercial spaces into spots where creativity and the liberty of art can happen.

by willibender therefore is more than just a name for us - it could be seen as the reinterpretation of having all and nothing for moments in time. The perpetual hunting for the new and the untoched affects our living-environment in a mutual way. The intensity of global movements as well as the human dilemma are constantly wrestling with reference to that development. This stamps the features of our generation.
