Chef, coach, photographer and an eye for creating perfect pictures where every element appeals to the eye, that’s me in a nutshell. After graduating from the hospitality and culinary school I worked as a chef and head chef at Michelin starred restaurants for twelve years. For instance, I worked as a sous-chef at the high-end restaurant Toine Hermsen in Maastricht.
Because I felt I needed a new perspective in my life I traded my chef’s knives for the keyboard. I was a coach for over ten years in ICT. During that time I also developed my knowledge of food photography. As a result I founded my photography business Dutch Food Art in 2007. Photographing tastes with my eye for detail is my core business.
By sharing my knowledge in the form of photography courses, photography lovers can develop their capturing skills.
