Die Wohnung

The Wohnung (Apartment) project is an experimental space situation which creates a synthesis between living-, studio-, and exhibition space. The boundaries between theses typologies of space are suspended, deconstructed and sounded out anew. The contradictory contradicts itself no more and is "invisibly visible" in the Faustian sense.

People who are active in various fields will be invited to live, work and receive each guest in "the Apartment" for a fixed period of time. Distances between public and private melt away and allow visitors to become witnesses to different processes. Monologues become dialogues and strangeers become guests.

The project is organized in different units of meaning, which creates a rhythm on the one hand and produces diversity on the other. Each chapter has its own form and structure.
