In 1961 Giovanni L. opened up the first gelato-store in Hannover, that was founded and named by his grandfather Giovanni Lasagna. In 2010 and 2014 Giovanni L. was awarded the world champion of gelato makers with his creation of pistachio gelato. The two-time world champion combines his passion, know-how and creativity with highest quality standards and the best ingredients to create an ice-cream that is incomparable.
Giovanni L. can by now be found at over 200 locations. All over the globe. Whether in a shopping centre as a crowd magnet, as a stand-alone ice café in the city centre, or as a shop-in-shop.
