The capabilities of a label depend largely on its self-adhesive material. More and more label manufacturers throughout Europe and beyond are therefore opting for HERMA self-adhesive materials – made in Germany. Their production in one of the world's most advanced coating plants presents new opportunities as regards quality, capacity and availability. And the personal commitment of our service teams enables us to offer not only products, but also compelling solutions.

We are a pioneer in our sector: HERMA is thought to be the only company to apply two different layers of adhesive simultaneously on an industrial scale. As a result, high-volume products that generate a lot of demand can be endowed with extra benefits in order to achieve, for example, less migration into food, better adhesion in difficult conditions, or more reliable and faster processing. In many cases, our customers can then dispense with the use of special materials.

HERMA was the first producer in the self-adhesive material industry to join the Cycle4Green initiative, which collects surplus silicone-coated release liner for special recycling. The recovered raw materials are used to produce ultra-white label paper and new release liner, both of which are consumed again by HERMA.
