“Our Story, Our Journey”

Our story began on the streets of Detroit, Michigan where Hisham and Elizabeth both grew up learning to love the diversity that is Detroit and its various culinary offerings from their native Spanish foods to Middle-Eastern cuisine. Along the way they also found a love and passion for American, Greek and various other recipes they learned to appreciate and create in their own businesses in Detroit.
Hisham and Elizabeth had to relocate their family to Germany, where even though the adjustment of learning a new language, a new culture, they immediately realized one thing they had in common with their new home country, the love of food. It all started as an idea where they incorporated some of their ideas and recipes in a franchise they helped to create and made a success with their various recipes from their world famous Falafel to their amazing Shawarma, and American Style Burgers. Their hands on approach by welcoming all of their customers the way you greet friends and family into your home, they created a dining atmosphere of comfort quality food. Because of their love of food and of their daily interactions with their customers, Hisham and Elizabeth decided to take the next step and create something that would not only be a lasting legacy for their children and a legacy as German citizens, they decided to create Hisham’s International Grill. They will create recipes that will encompass their Spanish and Middle Eastern culture. Included in their menu will be homemade, freshly made American cuisine from their world famous hamburgers to their American style breakfast and soul food. Hisham's International Grill will be a diner infused with a mix of various cultures and the most important ingredient of all, excellent customer service. This is why when we create a dish, we do it with love, the way a mother creates a feast for her most precious things on earth, her children. Our goal is to bring to our fellow citizens and guest from all over the world who come to Germany for its culture and tradition a unique dining experience. To enjoy a meal unlike any other meal served throughout the homeland. You will always get the best tasting, freshly prepared food and the warmest welcoming atmosphere at Hisham's International Grill.
