ISN SIS Bayreuth

ISN SIS, das sind das "International Student Network", eine studentische Organisation an der Universität Bayreuth, und der "Service for International Students" des International Offices.

Unser Ziel ist es die Integration internationaler Studierender zu fördern, ihnen das Leben und die Kultur in Deutschland näher zu bringen, sowie ihren Aufenthalt bei uns zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis zu machen.

Jedes Semester organisieren wir deshalb ein umfangreiches Programm, bestehend aus verschiedene Veranstaltungen, Partys und Ausflügen. Ganz im Sinne der Förderung des interkulturellen Kontakts, sind Deutsche bei all unseren Events natürlich gleichermaßen willkommen!

Das Team von ISN besteht aus engagierten Studierenden die Spaß an fremden Kulturen und Sprachen, sowie der Organisation und Durchführung von Veranstaltungen haben. Viele unserer Mitglieder haben bereits selbst schon tolle Erfahrungen im Ausland gesammelt, die sie nun an die internationalen Gäste der Universität Bayreuth zurückgeben möchten.

ISN SIS stands for "International Student Network Bayreuth" (ISN), a student organisation at the University of Bayreuth, and "Service for International Students" (SIS), a service provided by the International Office.

Our aim is to aid the integration of international students into university life, assist them in adjusting to German culture, and make their time here in Bayreuth an unforgettable experience.

With this in mind, we organise an extensive programme of events each semester, including trips, parties and much more besides. It goes without saying that German students are more than welcome to participate in our events too!

The ISN team consists of a group of comitted students with an interest in new cultures and languages, who plan and implement our events. Many of our members have themselves already had great experiences abroad themselves, and now wish to give something back to the international guests at the University of Bayreuth. We work closely with the university's international office.

ISN Bayreuth is part of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN).
