Model United Nations Association ISM Germany e.V.

Jährlich nehmen mehr als 5000 internationale Studenten an einer MUN Simulation teil. Dabei ist die Teilnahme eine Gelegenheit in die Rolle eines Diplomaten zu schlüpfen und während des MUN einen der 193 UN-Mitgliedsstaaten zu vertreten.

Die Delegierten diskutieren über aktuelle politische Problemstellungen mit dem Ziel, eine gemeinsame Resolution zu verabschieden. Dieses hands-on-learning ermöglicht den Teilnehmern, in die jeweilige Perspektive des Landes zu schlüpfen und den persönlichen Horizont zu erweitern.

Unser Ziel ist es, unser Verständnis der Vereinten Nationen und aktueller internationaler Themen weiterzuentwickeln und gleichzeitig Erfahrung auf dem internationalen Parkett der UN zu gewinnen. Alle Teilnehmer lernen während der Simulation für eine friedliche und nachhaltige menschlicher Entwicklung zu streben.

More than 5,000 international students participate annually in one of the MUN siumulations. It is an opportunity for students from all over the world to take part in an UN Simulation and to become a diplomat for a short period of time.

During the simulation each delegation is given the chance to represent one of the 193 UN member states. The delegates discuss current political issues and their objective is to come to an agreement and to pass a resolution. The hands-on learning allows the participants to work with a range of topics with the perspective of their assigned country or organization.

Our aim for the Model of United Nations is to advance our understanding of the United Nations and current international topics. As participants we will be prepared to be better global citizens and gain quality educational experiences. All students taking part in the MUN will learn to strive for peaceful, multi-lateral conflict resolution and sustainable human development.
