ROOTS

We believe in the transformative power of film to challenge old stereotypes and prejudices, to go beyond the surface, and to the root causes of human behavior and actions. We want to challenge the narratives that too often underpin conflicts, injustice and human rights abuses around the world.

Roots is a Berlin based nonprofit. Our projects are focused on working with inflicted parties in and around conflict zones, de-escalating conflicts, and support civil societies.
