Morphit is the world’s pioneer of the new “plug in” cushioned furniture. The idea has changed our outlook on how to decorate use and live with furniture. The Morphit concept is the creation of European designer Milan Sipek.

Morphit’s concept is as simple as it is innovative, the chair itself consist out of a solid wooden frame which is in turn made up of a series of smaller frames. The pillows or plugs are made of slow rebounding memory foam. The two combined create a furniture piece that has a form of modularity that has never before been seen in the furniture industry.

Our brand “Morphit” refers the word metamorphosis, signifying the products unique ability to change itself. With a little help from it’s owner.

It’s due to this morphing ability that one piece of Morphit furniture can transform itself into over a hundred thousand different combinations. Other modular furniture on the market offer a variety in sizes and the object can only change by adding or taking away components, as for the colors you can choose them only once (if at all). Morphit furniture can effortlessly change the shape of its contour and colors, and it can do it endlessly. So the furniture comes alive as it morph’s through cultures and styles. The clever design of the frames allows for the colored cushions to be arranged so that they convey certain moods, emulate your favorite painting, or even spell out messages. By using the shapes and colors available in the cushions, people can custom creates furniture that can suit the ambiance and surroundings of the moment.

The Morphit cushions are as of now available in 20 different colors and two distinct shapes with more shapes being developed right now. This allows for Morphit furniture to match itself into almost any interior or home. The cushions can be arranged to render logos or patterns for public spaces such as offices and corporate events. Service facilities such as hotel could have the option of changing the pattern day-to-day, creating a sense of new and fresh and adding to their client’s overall experience.

Due to it’s modular nature and the countless possible color combinations Morphit furniture lends itself very well to the interactive computer world. We have collaborated with some leading programmers to create an interactive web 3D experience; here anyone can try their hand at creating their own Morphit furniture. Visitors can choose a chair frame and then manipulate it in a three dimensional virtual space, insert cushions, change the shapes and colors. Users can then save their creations share them with their friends or opt buy the real thing directly.

Milan Sipek, born 1984 in Amsterdam The Netherlands, is a Dutch interior & landscape designer, crystal artist and furniture designer. Milan Sipek is also the pioneer creator of the “plug in cushion” furniture.

Milan Sipek has been working in China for 8 years. During this time he has established two design companies; an architecture and interior design firm, and a design furniture manufacturing company. He has been granted three furniture design patents, founded a furniture brand, and a brand of crystal art.
