SolarCar Projekt | Hochschule Bochum

Über 15 Jahre bauen Studierende, Mitarbeiter und Professoren aus den Fachbereichen Mechatronik und Maschinenbau sowie Elektrotechnik, Informatik und Wirtschaft Fahrzeuge, die mit der Energie der Sonne fahren. Ein Projekt, das alle Facetten des Ingenieurberufes beleuchtet: Teamarbeit, Projektmanagement, interkulturelle Perspektiven und nicht zuletzt die Faszination moderner Technik.
Ohne die Unterstützung zahlreicher Unternehmen wäre dieses Projekt nicht möglich.

Since 1999 students, employees and professors of all faculties of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences have been developing solar-cars, which are exclusively powered by the energy of the sun. The students - future engineers and business economists - should gather intercultural experiences, adapt their professionalism, methodological as well as social competences and learn how to deal with unpredictable situations in a dynamically changing environment.
This project would not be possible without the long-term support of big, international as well as small, local companies.
