Walfried's

The Kelterei Heil has its roots in a restaurant in the small village of Laubus-Eschbach near Frankfurt in Germany. From the beginning, the Heil family wanted to produce their own cider, but didn’t possess an apple press. To solve this problem, a goat from the family farm was swapped for a press.
The brand, Walfried´s 80, was introduced at the 80th Birthday of Walfried Heil. His sons Martin and Christof came up with a very charming idea: they created this new “German Cider” and called it “Walfried’s 80”- to honour the man who - over many years - had managed to develop the family business into the successful enterprise it is today.

“Walfried´s 80 original” is our traditional German Cider – celebrating the delicious taste of fresh, ripe apples.
New in our cider portfolio are Walfried´s 80 Rosé and Walfried’s 80 Gold. Rosé – our best apple cider infused with blackcurrant juice for a rich, fruity taste - is a slightly sparkling, refreshingly crisp drink.
In our Gold variant we mixed the juices of sweet plump pears with our original cider to create the perfect combination of a mild enjoyable drink with a fruity punch. Gold cider is deliciously thirst quenching and full of life.

Rosé and Gold are of organic quality and come in our beautiful 0.33l embossed glass bottle.
