BAR SAINT JEAN

My name is Johann. I am from a little village called Saint Jean, located in Lorraine, eastern France, and lived in Paris for 10 years. In 2012 I have moved to Berlin to start my own business and Berlin seems just to be the perfect place for my little bar idea with a French touch.

BAR SAINT JEAN is a simple place. Clear lines, not too much details, no chi chi, where people simply go to take a good drink, weekends and during the week. "Apero" is the way of the French to allow themselves the first "verre" at 19h! Now, this is what I'd like to teach the Germans, too :)

Yes there will be beer (Demory from Paris), wine and champagne, but the focus is on longdrinks with the not so usual gin and tonic and a broad selection of whiskeys and tequilas. Get ready to try out something new!

I am regularly inviting DJs for our GYM TONIC music nights to make BAR SAINT JEAN a nice place to hang out. No huge parties, but cool meet&greets for Mitte Berliners and those from around, tourists that cruise the streets and whoever wants to join the mixed crowd!
