Beauty by Allie

Here is a little about me, my name is Allie, I was born in Houston, Texas, I come from a large family and have been doing hair and makeup for as long as I can remember (I got in trouble every day in 4th grade for wearing green mascara to school, lol). I decided when I graduated high school that I wanted to work with makeup so I got a job assisting a makeup artist at a salon in Houston. She specialized in bridal makeup and I learned a ton from her. My parents wanted me to go to college so I left that job and moved across Texas to go to school and that's where I met my hubby. We got married and had kids and my dream job got put on the back burner. In 2013 I decided to go to cosmetology school at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle, there my focus was on hair but I was part of the Editorial Team and was able to do makeup again and it reignited my passion for makeup. I spend countless hours practicing my craft and expanding my makeup knowledge. Being able to make someone feel beautiful and confident is my favorite part of the job and I hope I will have the opportunity to make you feel that way.
