Berlin Salsa Congress

Berlin Salsacongress 2017 - setting the standards for salsa events. Longest continously running salsa event in Europe.

Already for years we follow our vision to create with the Berlin Salsacongress the first truly European Salsacongress with all different nations being represented by their most outstanding artists and bringing together dancers sharing the same passion no matter the colour or nationality. Now in its 17th year we are coming even closer to accomplish our mission with an 80 % average of non german participants originating from more than 70 countries. With 16 countries sending 26 of the best international DJs to give you the best music. With shows representing 36 different countries. With a team and volunteers originating from more then 18 countries. With at least 39 salsacongresses from all over Europe and the US being represented. In autumn 2017 Berlin will be the place to be for all salseros to meet all their friends in one place.


Stargate Shows
The Stargate Shows offer upcoming teams the opportunity to present themselves to a large international audience and make their way to the stars. The Stargate Shows take place Saturday & Sunday afternoon at 2.50 pm in the Small Arena. The team elected by the audience through their applause will perform in the evening show program. Additionally the winner of the Stargates will take part in the European Stargate Championship and have the chance to win 1500€ in cash and the titel European Stargate Chamion.
