Black Sunset Festival

Im Jahre 2005 als kleine Metal-Party im kleinen Dörfchen Albshausen mit Bands aus der lokalen Metalszene Hessens gestartet, hat sich das BLACK SUNSET FESTIVAL über die Jahre zu einer Konstante der deutschen und europäischen SOUTHERN ROCK/METAL-Szene entwickelt! Nach 5 Jahren Pause haben wir beschlossen, das B.S.F. wieder aufleben zu lassen, nur dieses Mal etwas größer! Wir ziehen dieses Jahr von unserem geliebten Grillplatz auf den Sportplatz in Albshausen, es gibt das erste Mal eine richtige Bühne und das wahrscheinlich beste Line-Up in der Geschichte unseres kleinen Festivals! Wir sind megastolz darauf mit den SPIDERS aus Schweden und THE VINTAGE CARAVAN aus Island zwei mächtige Headliner zu haben, aber auch die restlichen Bands des Festivals, aus dem deutschen und europäischen Underground, stehen für höchste musikalische Qualität! Diese Maßstäbe setzen wir auch bei den Getränken und den Speisen, die wir von regionalen Anbietern beziehen! Und last but not least die familiäre Atmosphäre, für die das B.S.F. über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bei Bands und Besuchern bekannt und beliebt ist! Wir sind ein Familien-geführtes Festival, von Fans für Fans und wir freuen uns tierisch darauf, mit euch dieses Jahr ein ganz Wochenende dem ROCK zu huldigen!

Started in the year 2005 as a little Metal-Party with local bands in a tiny town in Albshausen/ Germany, the BLACK SUNSET FESTIVAL became a constant in german and european Southern Rock scene! After a break of 5 years, we decided to bring it back on track, but this time a little bigger!
This year we gonna move from our beloved bbq area to the sports field of Albshausen. For the first time we got a big stage and maybe the greatest Line-Up in the festival´s history!
We´re very proud to have the SPIDERS from Sweden and THE VINTAGE CARAVEN from Iceland as the weekend headliners, but even the other bands from all over Europe have the highest quality in underground rock music. And we´ve got this standard for our food and beverages too, all produced by local companies. And last but not least this familiar vibe, for what we´re famous for by bands and fans!
We´re a family driven festival, doin´ it just for the fans and for the love of music and we’re looking forward to a whole weekend of celebrating ROCK music with YOU!!!!
