Die Calyxo GmbH ist einer der führenden deutschen Hersteller von hochinnovativen CdTe- Dünnschicht-Solarmodulen sowie Anbieter von schlüsselfertigen Systemlösungen.
Seit der Gründung im Jahr 2005 am Standort „Solar Valley“ in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, ist das Unternehmen kontinuierlich gewachsen und beschäftigt derzeit 175 Mitarbeiter.

Das Herstellungsverfahren sowie die verwendeten Halbleiter weisen ein hohes Wirkungsgradpotenzial auf. Insgesamt liegen die Produktionskosten pro Watt-Peak bei entsprechender Ausbringungsmenge deutlich niedriger als bei der Fertigung herkömmlicher kristalliner Solarzellen und -module. Calyxo Dünnschicht-Solarmodule lassen sich leicht installieren und amortisieren sich aufgrund ihres hohen Wirkungsgrades innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Solarmodule von Calyxo weisen den geringsten Energieeinsatz sowie die beste CO2-Bilanz im Vergleich zu Produkten anderer Hersteller auf – und sichern so Lebensqualität über Generationen!

Calyxo GmbH is one of the leading German manufacturers of highly innovative cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin-film solar modules and a supplier of turnkey photovoltaic systems.
Since its foundation in 2005 at the Solar Valley in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, the company has been growing steadily and currently employs 175 people.

The production process and the used semiconductor have a high efficiency potential. The production costs per watt peak lie significantly lower than the production of conventional crystalline solar cells and modules according to output. Calyxo thin-film solar modules are easy to install and pay for themselves with their high degree of efficiency in a short time.
