There are any number of training facilities in Germany and in Hamburg which purport to offer ‘serious’ training facilities, yet when examined closely are found to be lacking in either level of expertise, facilities or environment.

The Champ Performance centre offers a complete solution for strength and conditioning and rehabilitation. This means that the centre boasts the very best equipment from around the world (hardly any of which is currently available in Germany) and a consistent level of expertise throughout all disciplines (strength and conditioning, boxing, physiotherapy, sports massage, sports psychology) that ensures that the facilities are utilised in the most effective way possible. To ensure peak performance in any discipline one requires that every aspect of life is organised to enable the pursuit of excellence. The Champ Performance centre hopes to provide the sort of environment in which all aspects of an athlete/trainees life may be advised upon in order to ensure excellence in a chosen discipline. Each client will work with a certified coach, not a personal trainer. The difference is that a coach must undergo extensive training and education and at Champ Performance must pass rigorous exams and tests to coach at our facility. The use of a coach is essential as it will ensure that exercises are being performed in a technically proficient way, at the correct tempo, at the right intensity and within the right amount of variety for that individual. Weight training is a skill that needs to be practised properly.


In central Hamburg there isn’t one single boxing gym within the premium range of the industry. The Champ Performance centre incorporates a boxing ring and training area complete with bags and pads and has the benefit of DBV licensed trainers as boxing coaches as well as a number of professional boxers as clients.
