Weltweit als erster Hersteller überhaupt haben wir in den 1980er Jahren den computergesteuerten Zuschnitt für das Verdeck eines Cabrios eingeführt. Preislich günstigere Zuschneideanlagen können zwar zuschneiden, aber nicht die erforderlichen Linien für die Nähte oder Positionen für Scheibe, Bänder oder Montagepunkte vollautomatisch anzeichnen. Wenn diese Linien von Hand angezeichnet werden müssen, besteht trotz Computerzuschnitt eine erhebliche Fehlerquelle und eine perfekte Passform ist keineswegs gewährleistet.

Darüberhinaus verfügen wir über das in der Erstausrüstung heute übliche Schweissverfahren z.B. bei bestimmten Spriegel- oder Kappnähten. Durch dieses Verfahren wird die Nähnaht beim Verdeck durch eine Schweissnaht ersetzt, wobei die durch die Nadel verursachten Löcher in diesem Bereich wegfallen und Langlebigkeit und Wertigkeit beim Verdeck ganz entscheidend erhöht werden.

In 1988 we were the first manufacturer to introduce computerised cutting procedures for car tops, in those days still called HÄRTEL. Today, EUROTOP convertible tops are among the best in the branch, and are supplied to private customers, car dealers and series manufacturers.
Knowing as we do just how a convertible owner passionately loves his vehicle, we will continue to make quality our top priority in future too.

Precision technology already helps us during the cutting stage to avoid any fitting problems later on when the convertible top is finished.
We use computerised CAD systems for absolutely high-precision cutting of the convertible tops.
Specially developed additional devices draw all the seam lines and the rear window on the top
parts.
The system calculates the necessary marks which have to be covered when sewing the components together to ensure that no pleats are caused by distortion of the fabric.

Important quality features, such as the run of the fabric, are also taken into account. Once the form of a convertible top has been stipulated by design and trial and error on the vehicle, it is cut out time and again with exactly the same precision. The tops cut-outs produced on our high-tech machinery are more accurately dimensioned than the best hand cutouts can ever be. Technical perfection and many years of professional experience produce the very best prerequisites for top-rate quality.
