Rustic style, beam-ceiling loft apartment in the charming village of Mittenwald – known as "the cradle of violin-making in Bavaria". An ideal holiday apartment for couples, families with up to 3 children or groups of up to 5.

Mittenwald, nestled in the Karwendel Region of the Bavarian Alps, borders with the Austrian Tyrol. It is the perfect summer / winter holiday destination for activities such as hiking / walking / swimming / cycling / mountain biking and both cross-country and downhill skiing in winter – or even just exploring the region! There are also many cafes, pubs and restaurants to experience in the village.

The Apartment

This 1-bedroom apartment with balcony is found on the top (3rd) floor of a traditional Bavarian-style apartment building located just 10 minutes walk from the village centre and not more than 15 minutes from the local train station.

Getting There

Trains run hourly to / from both Munich (2 hours journey) and Innsbruck, Austria (1 hour journey).

Munich and Innsbruck International Airports are both easily accessible by train or car. Parking is also available on the property.

In the Region

The popular ski-resorts of Seefeld in Austria, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which offers a wider range of shopping facilities, are both within a half-hours distance - by either car or train. Other famous locations in the region include:

Neuschwanstein Castle – approx. 1.5 hours driving distance
Linderhof Palace - within 1 hours driving distance
Oberammergau – the home of The Passion Play – 45 mins driving distance
