We've been finding horses for people all over the world beginning about 15 years ago. The studfarm includes 42 Hektars of farmed pastureland which has been run organic beginning 1980. Due to our climate and soil as well as extensive management, horses can be offered year-round access without sacrificing one to one handling. Since the farm is managed by certified veterinarian specialising in equine repro and rehabbing potential problems can be addressed without delay resulting in the best possible care. Several outstanding equine reference hospitals nearby. We cater to each horses' individual needs. Free choice Hay and Haylage as well as straw bedding is available at all times. Concentrates are being fed by hand and adjusted to each horses' needs. Youngsters are raised in steady groups of no more than 12 individuals of various ages hence they tend to be very well socialized. Stallions will be kept in groups whenever it is possible. Foals livery is included as long as they are on their dams. Weaning occurs gradually: Mares will be removed one by one as the foals reach 6 months of age. Thus foals can be with the group they are familiar with and dams are then taken away. Weanlings undergo a few weeks of living in at night so they learn about being stabled and refresh their handling skills before being turned out with their group again. Training is available as full and half training. Some horses are kept in work here on the farm but we also work with a row of excellent professionals for all Olympic disciplines.
