Herom Bässe

Hendrik Oltmanns has been making basses since he was 18 years old. At first, he specialized in modifications and repairs but over years of building custom bodies and necks at the request of customers his passion for craftsmanship and eye for quality
and design grew.

Now, Herom Basses are the new benchmark in quality, design and craftsmanship offering precision sound and a unique style.

His workshop is now in Taben-Rodt Hamm in Rhineland-Palatinate/Germany near the border of Luxembourg and France. There he handcrafts each Herom Bass with care and love.

Each Herom Bass, is made from hand-selected wood using radical designs and innovative technical solutions. Hendrik also works closely with the artist to build their dream bass that it is not only individual, but a perfect reflection of the artist.
