HEYER Medical is a leading company in development, manufacturing and distribution of high-class medical devices with more than 130 years of experience in healthcare technology.

The company was established in 1883 in Bad Ems, a famous spa-town in the heart of Germany. Situated close to the river Rhine, Bad Ems was the destination of patients throughout Europe seeking treatment for respiratory ailments. It was not surprising that a technical genius such as Carl Heyer quickly began using the experience gained in this setting to develop state of the art inhalational devices. He soon gained widespread recognition for his revolutionary work, with patients including members of the Germany royal family as well as of the Russian Czar’s family.

Awards and patents followed. HEYER products now gained a huge reputation all around the world. The brand HEYER was created synonymously for German Engineering and Quality.

In the 1970´s Heyer started to manufacture the first anesthesia machines. Today we have become a reliable factor in the selected group of companies that focus on modern anesthesia gas delivery systems.

Based on our stated core-competence ‘Ventilation’, HEYER Medical expanded its product portfolio to different business areas:

- Patient Monitoring Systems,
- Intensive Care Ventilator,
- Inhalation Therapy and Respiratory Care.

HEYER is a global player and active in many countries all over the world, especially in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. One of HEYER’s particular strength is product development. In order to strengthen our international presence and to better serve our growing list of customers and installations we established our own offices in Malaysia, Washington, Beijing and the Middle East region.
