House-/Petsitter in Costa Rica

A friendly `Hello` to all of you!

My name is Marita and I am a well experienced house- and petsitter. Originally from Germany I fell in love with Costa Rica like so many others.

What am I doing?

I will take care of your home, garden/plants and pets as if they were my own. Looking forward to do long walks with your dogs or/and give your cats lots of cuddles and other pets all the attention and passion they will need. Are there any other things to take care of in your house, like maintaining the pool pump or chemicals, solar collectors etc? No problem! I'm a quick learner.

My time in your home will be spent taking care of everything that is necessary while you are away. So that when you return it could be like you had been there all along. With of course the added plus that your pets now have a new friend!


How I became a house- and petsitter

I grew up on the countryside with all different kind of animals in our house and the farmhouses in the neighborhood. So my love for pets is really an old one. In addition to that I loved to travel all my life and visited many countries, whenever I got the chance.
6 years ago I was pensioned early as a result of a serious horse riding accident. So, I had all the time but unfortunately not that much money to travel the world. In this situation a friend alerted me to the mindmyhouse-homepage - and very soon I startet to be a "travelling housesitter".

My experience

I have done house and pet sitting assignments in Arizona and New Mexico, in Germany and Austria. Since about 4 years I am living most of the year in Tamarindo, Costa Rica where I am a full time house and petsitter mostly all over the year. The workings of a house and garden are not new to me! I know how to keep a place clean, maintained and secure and will, of course, follow your instructions.
I am well experienced with all kind of animals, from hamsters and rabbits, cats and dogs and even hens, ducks or horses.
