International Hunting Dog Academy

We offer you professional trained Hunting dogs especially trained for your needs in ...hunting and family. Our training combines traditional German Hunting dog training methods with new knowing from dog psychologies. Our interest is the combination of a hard working gun dog and the best friend for your family. So our dogs works every day in our own forest and fields in Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany to get to know their future work with pheasant, quail, duck, goose, fox, raccoon, brown hare, rabbit and deer. Our dogs are all-rounders, so they work in the field (pointing, searching, perfect finding and bringing of injured animals) such as good as in the forest (find the injured deer on the trail, fight the raccoon and the fox) and in the water (bring the duck and the goose, find the injured, point the living ones). Also our dogs are the best friends in the family, they know how to behave in the house and on a walk through the city. The important part of our work is the real work in field, forest and water with the dogs, but also in the competitions in the highest places. We train the dogs to be your best partner for the hunt and life. Academy
A young dog goes through different development phases. From the day of his birth to 12 month every day counts. We use this development phases for schooling our puppies and train them every day in different lessons, we start with obedience in different difficult situations e.g driveing in a car,cage and house traing,walking on lead and socializeing with all aged dogs and after the dog handles this, we start with the gun dog work. The whole development of the dog is monitored by us, as professional dog trainers, keepers and traditional German huntsman. From the perfect imprinting to professional keeping and the individual care of every pointer, every dog gets a perfect start in the world.

Location
We settled down on a traditional German farm in the heart of Nordrhein Westfalen. Sociability, Tradition but also professionalism and purposefulness with the dogs, describes our academy. The dogs grow up in rooms which are extra designed for hunting dogs, but also they live in our house, to get to know the family life. We live between fields and forests and have our own stretch of water for dog training. We only work with professional hunting dog equipment, which is fabricated for our school.
