The leaders in camping. Or to be more accurate, the leaders in modern holiday camping, which everyone enjoys so much. The Leading Campings is an association currently made up of 39 top campsites throughout Europe. All member sites are completely independent and have their own character. They include small, manageable sites with 200 pitches as well as holiday towns which can easily accommodate even 11,000 guests in the high season. One thing, which they all have in common, is that they are all owner-managed, family-operated businesses with a particular focus on the guests. Many of the Leading Campings are already half a century old. They have taken their time to mature, but have never missed the opportunity of being one of the first to introduce innovations to ensure an even more comfortable, more sporty, more relaxing holiday.
Founded in 1994 by three far-sighted campsite owners, Leading Campings is now the
- “most prestigious group" in European camping - ­ no other has collected more international awards and distinctions.
- “most experienced group" in European outdoor tourism - ­ five members are already 50 years or older making us more experienced than Club Méditerranée and similar providers.
- “most advanced group" in European individual tourism - ­ always introducing new sports, entertainments and services which are unique in the region
- “most ecological group" in European camping - ­ certification according to Ecocamping, Manifesto Ambientale Veneto, AENOR Gestión Ambiental, EMAS II, EU Flower.
- “most powerful group" in premium European camping - ­ Founded in 1994, currently 39 members, around 8 million overnight stays per year, annual turnover of around 150,000,000 €, around 2,200 friendly, trained employees throughout Europe.
