Es ist nur ein kleiner Schritt. Doch er führt dich mitten hinein in eine große Erfahrung. Du blickst dich um und hast plötzlich eine vollkommen neue Sicht auf die Welt der Festivals. Die außerirdische Optik dieses Orts lässt das bisher gesehene in den unendlichen Weiten des Raums verblassen. Mit schwerelos federnden Schritten tänzelst du der Musik entgegen, deren eingängiger Rhythmus deine Bauchdecke kitzelt. Das allgegenwärtige Grinsen um dich herum spricht eine eindeutige Sprache: Wir haben den harten Boden des Alltags weit hinter uns gelassen. Willkommen auf dem Moonstep Festival!

Das neue Zeitalter der norddeutschen Open Air Kultur beginnt mit jeder Menge erstklassiger Musik. Denn bist du einmal auf dem Moonstep Festival gelandet, gibt es hier viele hochkarätige Konzerte, für die sich jeweils einzeln eine Reise lohnen würde. Aber auch spannendes musikalisches Neuland: Verschiedene Bühnen und Floors präsentieren sorgsam aufeinander abgestimmt jede Menge Abwechslung zwischen handgemachten Klängen und treibendem elektronischen Clubsound. Dafür wurden sowohl lokale Größen als auch internationale Jetsetter begeistert.

Es wird ganz offensichtlich eine neue Festivalerfahrung - und zwar buchstäblich „offensichtlich“. Denn die Moonstep setzt einen starken Akzent auf das visuelle Erlebnis. Aufwändige Bühnenbilder, ein Meer aus Licht und Lasern sowie Feuerspucker und Akrobaten an allen Ecken machen das vergnügliche Abenteuer in dieser neuen Welt perfekt.

Vom Mond aus betrachtet soll die Erde wunderschön aussehen – und sehr zerbrechlich. Nicht zuletzt hat das Festival auch einen gemeinnützigen Aspekt. Ein Teil der Einnahmen wird nämlich an gemeinnützige Organisationen gespendet. Auf diese Weise soll auf der Tanzfläche nicht nur zum Zweck der allgemeinen Lebensfreude, sondern auch zum Wohle des Planeten gesteppt werden.

That’s one small step for you, one giant leap for the North German festival landscape. You look around and all of a sudden your concept of open airs is turned upside down. The exotic, alien appearance of this place makes everything you’ve seen before grow pale into the vastness of space. Gambolling weightlessly through the field you’re attracted by the catchy rhythm of the music that keeps tickling within of your stomach. The omnipresent grin all around you speaks for itself: We are many miles away from the dullness of everyday life. Welcome to Moonstep Festival!

The new age of open air culture kicks off with loads of great music. Once you’ve landed at Moonstep Festival, you will find yourself surrounded by numerous great concerts, each of which worth a travel for itself. Also there are exciting new territories to discover: Several stages and dance floors present an entertaining variety of music, well-balanced between hand-made tunes and driving, electronic club groove. Local bigwigs will play back to back with international jetsetters.

Obviously it’s going to be a groundbreaking festival experience – literally. Moonstep turns its spotlights on extraordinary visual impressions. Lavish sceneries, a sea of lights and lasers as well as fire dancers and acrobats at every corner will complement this joyful adventure in a new world.
They say that watched from the surface of the moon our Earth looks most beautiful – and most fragile. For this reason Moonstep Festival has also a charitable aspect to it. A part of the revenue will be donated to non-profit organizations. In this way each step on the dance floor supports our general joy of life, but at the same time the welfare of our planet.
