Im Jahr 2005 wurde New Orleans von einer der größten Natur-katastrophen in der Geschichte der USA, Hurrikan Katrina, heimgesucht.
Dieses Ereignis prägt bis heute das Bewusstsein der Menschen.Gleichzeitig begegnet man in New Orleans einer außergewöhnlichen Lebensfreude, die tief in Traditionen und Kultur verwurzelt ist.
