More about Ossberger

Innovation has always been OSSBERGER’s major aim. Since the company’s foundation in 1873, the owner family constantly searched for developing new ideas and improving existing systems to highly sophisticated products. More than 12,000 OSSBERGER machines have been sold to over 50 countries worldwide – all of them “Made in Germany”.

Today, three sectors form the pillars of OSSBERGER:
Hydropower Technology, Plastics Technology and Surface Technology.

Hydropower Technology
With the development of the Original OSSBERGER® Crossflow Turbine, Fritz Ossberger created the basis for decades of successful work in the small hydropower sector. The well-thought-out patented system of standardized components allows for a customization of each machine group to any site requirement within the range. Working even with small streams, Original OSSBERGER® Crossflow Turbines generate energy almost all year round (maximum output: 5 MW). Stationary and mobile trash rack cleaning systems increasing the profitability of both small and large hydroelectric power plants, and Automation systems complete the range of OSSBERGER’s hydro products.

Plastics Technology
Seeking for absolute perfection, the automotive industry relies on partners that fulfil highest requirements. That is why boots and bellows produced on OSSBERGER PRESSBLOWER machines are found in about 90% of all automobiles worldwide. The injection blow moulders were developed by Ossberger and have since then continuously increased their importance on the market.

Surface Technoloy
Cost reduction and efficiency are the major challenge for any production line. Short ways can only be achieved by using intelligent technologies. Ossberger developed a parts cleaning system that not only allows its integration into the production line, but also helps reducing the use of harmful chemicals thanks to its unique vibration system. Just like an animal shaking dirt and water out of its fur, the OSSBERGER Coli-Cleaner puts the workpiece into vibration, neutralizing thus the adhesive forces of any dirt or oil particles. These are then removed by suction and can easily be recycled.
