I am an ITEC qualified Reflexology therapist, after having my own successful mobile Reflexology business in the UK, I have now moved to Cyprus with my husband, and will be working with the lovely Rhian at her beautiful "Le Petite Spa", in Chlorakas, Paphos. I am very excited to get going, and feel very blessed to be living in such a beautiful country doing what I love. Reflexology is a deeply relaxing and energising Holistic therapy. It is based on the principle that the body is divided into 10 equal and vertical zones ending in the fingers and toes. The body is often in a state of imbalance, particularly after illness, injury or periods of stress, with these vital energy pathways blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively.
The aim of Reflexology is to release any blockages and restore the free flow of energy and blood circulation to the whole body. To achieve this a specific massage technique is applied to reflex areas in the feet (and sometimes the hands) which correspond to tissues, organs and systems throughout the body. Stimulating these reflexes encourages the body to heal itself, restoring and maintaining natural equilibrum, as well as promoting relaxation and a general sense of well being. Qualifications:
ITEC Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complimentary therapies (Grade: Distinction).
ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology from The London School of Massage (Grade: Distinction)
