The company was founded as a printing works by Franz Rhiem Senior in 1958 and today comprises RHIEM E-Commerce, RHIEM Printing, RHIEM Services, RHIEM Intermedia, RHIEM Distribution Systems and RHIEM Branding Solutions.

RHIEM provides one-stop fulfillment for e-commerce and direct online sales, in addition to warehousing, shipping and logistics services; the company also designs and manufactures packaging.
