Schnoed & the High Field Band

Schnoed & the High Field Band has been founded end of 2015. Schnoed aka Joachim Schoen, hobby musician and singer/songwriter from Schweinfurt/Germany, was asked to play at an event of the green party. He asked some friends to join him in this musical journey, and this is how it started.

The band is primarily playing Schnoed's songs but also has some covers for special occasions on the set list.

The first gig went very well and the band decided to record the songs in the basement studio of their bass player Christian Daller. The album was completed in summer 2016 and is now also available for download at all major internet stores sich as iTunes or Spotify.

The basic musical style of the High Field Band is Acoustic Rock, which means a real rock rhythm section plus an acoustic guitar, two voices, a trumpet and a keyboard. In some songs there's an electric guitar instead of an acoustic one, but rather dedicated to rhythm figures than to solo parts. The trumpet acts as the main solo instrument.

Schnoed's songs are definitely personal, and the musical style varies between Rock, Country, Pop, Westcoast, Indie, Ballads, etcetcetc. Typical Singer/Songwriter Music.

The band has no commercial ambitions but donates all revenues to charity organizations.
