From his first singles for Sun Records ('Hey, Porter', 'Folsom Prison Blues', 'I Walk The Line') via his commercial peak in the sixties ('At Folsom Prison', 'At San Quentin') to his nineties rebirth, Johnny Cash is a legend. He is considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best-selling artists of all time, with over 90 million albums sold worldwide. The legacy of the 'Man in Black' lives on through THE CASHBAGS, Europe's finest Johnny Cash revival act with US singer Robert Tyson.

Sounding and looking precisely like their famous role model in the late '60s, the Dresden-based band appears as a quintet similar to the iconic 'Johnny/June/Tennessee Three' line-up. The acoustic guitar, telecaster, bass and drums deliver that genuine, classic 'Boom-Chicka-Boom' sound. The repertoire also includes hits by June Carter Cash, Carl Perkins, Bob Dylan and The Carter Family, rounding out an incredibly authentic JOHNNY CASH SHOW, full of charisma and original style. A few songs from the American Recordings period make up a special solo acoustic homage, with further highlights being a time trip to the 1950s retro sound in Tennessee Two line-up and a charming and funny duet of 'June' with Johnny Cash's guitarist 'Luther Perkins'.
