United We Are Foundation

The United We Are Foundation is a global initiative set-up by Dutch DJ/Producer Hardwell and Anna Knaup, CEO of international electronic music agency Anna Agency. The Foundation, which characterizes itself as a springboard charity project that has been conceived following the worldwide reach of the former 2 x World’s #1 DJ’s debut artist album United We Are and tour concept I AM HARDWELL - United We Are was Created to “give something back’” to the children of the world. Resulting in this charity project with a globally ambitious endeavour to educate young underprivileged children in different communities around the globe.
On their travels around the world Hardwell and his manager Anna journeyed to countries and regions where the economic situation is very difficult and which gives young children little or no prospect of an opportunity for a good education.
Experiencing this in person has led to the current ambition of the joint founders of the United We Are Foundation to trigger a contribution to change. By using their network, skills and position within the music industry, they want to trigger a movement that can help raise funds and enable disadvantaged children in the world with the possibility of an education and training, and thus bring them an opportunity for a brighter future.
In this statement the board of the foundation determined the current policy. This policy was adopted at the board meeting of 14 October 2015. If any cause arises, the policy can be adjusted annually.
