Since founding Universum Box-Promotion in 1984 Klaus-Peter Kohl promoted more than 250 evenings of premium boxing with over 1900 bouts, including over 180 world championships and more than 200 other title bouts sanctioned by all major bodies. From "breakfast boxing" for 100 exclusive guests to open-air stadium shows with 25 000 spectators, Universum has staged memorable events all over Germany, in Budapest/Hungary, Las Vegas, Atlantic City/USA, in Kiev/Ukraine, etc. with more exciting venues to come. The partnership with ZDF TV brought Universum sustainable success in ratings and market share.

Universum Box-Promotion has expanded into new dimensions and has become a platform for ambitious boxers from unified Germany, Poland, Hungary, the Ukraine, Scandinavia, etc. Klaus-Peter Kohl"s understanding of building up a stable exceeded the traditional attitude towards professional boxing in Europe.
