VEVAIS-KUNSTFABRIK: a new, unique, contemporary, & economical approach to the buying of ART

Edition GALERIE VEVAIS, the award-winning German publishing house, will begin offering art works from the artists whose books it publishes.

As a publishing house of some of the most well-made books in the world, we are masters of printing and quality reproduction.

VEVAIS-KUNSTFABRIK is a gallery but like no traditional gallery.

We are determined to create affordable art—affordable art for people who love art but cannot afford to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars or Euros to buy from traditional galleries.

Art is an important element of the good life. Everyone needs art. Children need to grow up living with art. Living with art enriches a person’s daily life. VEVAIS-KUNSTFABRIK will make great art available to everyone at sensible prices because we work with the artists, especially some of the most brilliant young artists in the world.

VEVAIS-KUNSTFABRIK is not only a gallery but also a new social vision. We do not wish to fight the art market or the relationship of our artists with their galleries. But we can agree to sell fine artworks that are smaller or different from what a traditional gallery might offer.

We offer art, signed by the artists, printed on the finest papers, using the highest quality techniques, in three different sizes, and at affordable prices.

VEVAIS-KUNSTFABRIK offer artworks from the artists in the edition GALERIE VEVAIS, signed by the artist and printed on fine papers. Of course there are interfaces to normal artworks in bigger editions, specifically in photography. But we will also offer reproduction of graphic design, graphics, and paintings.

To make our artworks we will use techniques such as pigment prints on Hahnemühle paper, UV-print (digital screen printing) on Scheufelen paper, C-Prints on normal paper, on paper with nacre effect, and on Baryt paper. Digital files undergo traditional darkroom chemistries and develop on paper such as Baryt with red, green, and blue light.

We will offer different work from our artists with each artwork in three possible sizes:

approximately 20 x 30 / 30 x 40 or 40 x 60cm / (paper size, not the image itself)

and for a nice reasonable price of 110 / 190 / 300 EUR - each in an edition of 100 copies.

For technical reasons, some of our artworks are only available in 1 or 2 sizes.


We wil also offer some special artworks in cooperation with the artists in two sizes:

approximately 30 x 40 and 40 x 60cm / (paper size, not the image itself)

for a price of 600 / 800 EUR - each in an edition of 30 copies.
