Weingut Rinklin

Im sonnigen Weinbaugebiet des östlichen Kaiserstuhles befindet sich im idyllischen Eichstetten unser Weingut. Der historische Hof mit alter Tradition entstand im Jahre 1713. Die Initialen auf dem „Schwiibogen“ – eine Rundbogen-Torart - weisen noch heute darauf
hin. Auf dem fruchtbaren Boden bauten bereits Lydia und Wilhelm Rinklin ab 1955 Trauben, Obst und Gemüse zunächst nach Demeter-Richlinien an. 1971 war man an der Gründung des heutigen Verbandes Bioland beteiligt und war fortan dort unter Vertrag. Somit gehören wir zu den Vorreitern der Biobewegung in Deutschland. Mit der kraftvollen Verbindung von Tradition und Moderne begannen wir mit der Erweiterung und dem Umbau des Hofes zu einem Weingut. Konsequentes Qualitätsbestreben machte den Hof zu dem was er heute ist: Ein kleines, feines Familienweingut mit Edelbrennerei und Ferienwohnungen.

Our vineyards are in idyllic Eichstetten, located in the sunny wine region on the eastern
side of the Kaiserstuhl hills. The historic farm,
steeped in tradition, has existed since 1713, as the initials on the “Schwiibogen” - a round
arched gate – still show. As early as 1955, Lydia and Wilhem Rinklin began growing grapes, vegetables and fruit in the fertile soil, at first in line with Demeter guidelines. Then, in 1971,
the farm was involved in the founding of
today’s Bioland association, and has been
a recognised, contracted Bioland producer
ever since. Thus, they helped pioneer the
organic movement in Germany. With a powerful combination of tradition and modernity, we
began expanding and rebuilding the farm to a winery. Constantly striving for quality has made
the farm what it is today: a nice, small,
family-run winery with a brandy distillery with tourist appartments.
