Würzburger Improtheaterfestival

Das Würzburger Improtheaterfestival ist eines der größten Events der Improvisationstheater-Szene in Europa und ein fester Bestandteil der Kulturlandschaft Würzburgs. Was als wagemutiges Experiment begann, wurde zu einer etablierten und international bekannten Veranstaltung. 2002 veranstaltete "Der Kaktus - Improvisation und Theater" zusammen mit dem Jugendkulturhaus Cairo erstmals das Würzburger Improtheaterfestival, welches inzwischen in der Verantwortung des Würzburger Improtheaterfestival e. V. liegt.

The Würzburger Improtheaterfestival is one of Europe's biggest festivals of its kind and an inherent part for the cultural life in the city of Würzburg. What started out as an adventurous experiment has turned into an established and internationally known event. 2002 "Der Kaktus - Improvisation und Theater" and the Jugendkulturhaus Cairo have been presenting the annual Würzburger Improtheaterfestival for the first time, which is meanwhile organized by the Association of Würzburger Improtheaterfestival e.V.
