springhouse ist ein mobiles Kunsthaus, eine Plattform, ein Ausstellungsraum, ein Konzert- und Kinosaal. springhouse ist Spielraum und Quelle für ungewöhnliche, abwegige, innovative, utopische und absurde Ideen. springhouse ist, was die Künstler*innen und Besucher*innen daraus machen.

Künstler*innen verwandeln ein privates Wohnhaus oder Bürogebäude in einen temporären Kunstraum. Sie werden gebeten, sich mit dem intimen, fremden, privaten Raum auseinanderzusetzen und in ihrer Arbeit die Relationen zwischen Kunst und Alltag auszuloten.

springhouse invites artists into a private home in order to transform this house into a temporary space for the arts. Artists of all branches (painting, sculpture, performing arts, music etc.) have the chance to relate to an intimate yet strange place and to explore by means of their works the interchange between the arts and the common way of life.

Thereby they turn the house into a lab for work processes, into a screen for play and projections, into a stage and a show room for the contemporary arts.
